Born and raised in New Jersey, Gage Antonio [Merollo] is an artist and photographer whose work blurs the line between the seen and the unseen. From an early fascination with art and photography to a later passion for filmmaking, his creative foundation was shaped at a young age where expression and experimentation were second nature.
After a long hiatus from art, Gage’s perspective transformed through his study of Kabbalah, the ancient system of Jewish mysticism, beginning in 2019. That exploration rekindled his creative drive and infused his work with symbolic depth and spiritual tension.
Today, he is recognized for his dark, surreal, and atmospheric imagery—photographs and compositions that feel unearthed from the subconscious, balancing grit with quiet mysticism. His work evokes the haunting beauty found in decay, memory, and the spaces between light and shadow.
